A storm sweeping through the Principality on Wednesday afternoon brought down a large tree near Place d'Armes, blocking the full width of the carriageway. Municipal services responded quickly, cordoning off the affected stretch while crews worked to clear the debris. No injuries have been reported.
A yellow weather warning remains in place for Monaco, and residents and visitors should expect possible further disruption to roads and outdoor areas. Those travelling on foot or by vehicle near the Condamine district are advised to allow extra time and follow any temporary signage put in place by municipal services.
