A driver arrested for drink-driving on the Boulevard du Larvotto on 18 June 2026 left a scooter rider with an open leg fracture.
A serious road collision on the Boulevard du Larvotto on Thursday morning resulted in one man being taken to the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace with an open fracture to his leg. The driver of the vehicle involved was placed in custody at the Sûreté Publique following a positive drink-drive test.
The Larvotto stretch, one of the busier coastal routes through the Principality, sees regular traffic between the beach area and the residential districts to the east. Residents and those cycling or riding scooters along the boulevard are advised to remain vigilant, particularly during morning and evening peak hours. The investigation remains ongoing.
