The executive chef of Le Grill has received the region's highest culinary honour at the annual Gault and Millau Tour ceremony in Nice.

Chef Dominique Lory, who leads the kitchen at Le Grill in the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, has been awarded the Gault and Millau d'Or for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Monaco region. The prize, presented at the annual tour ceremony in Nice on 30 March, is the most prestigious individual honour in the guide's regional awards.

The recognition reflects Lory's sustained excellence at Le Grill, the rooftop restaurant that has become one of Monte Carlo's most celebrated dining destinations. Under his direction, the restaurant continues to attract international attention for its refined Mediterranean cuisine and spectacular setting.

The award adds to Monaco's growing reputation as a serious culinary destination, complementing the Principality's established strengths in luxury hospitality.
