AS Monaco beat Nordsjælland 2-0 on Thursday night, with Mathys Detourbet scoring his first goal for the club and Ilane Touré impressing on his first start.

AS Monaco secured a 2-0 victory over Nordsjælland on Thursday evening, with Mathys Detourbet at the heart of the win. The forward opened his account for the club with his first goal in the red and white shirt, then turned provider late on to set up the second. It was a lively, involved performance from the Frenchman at a packed Stade Louis II.

Ilane Touré also caught the eye, making his first professional start for the club. The young forward was active throughout, showing promise on an evening that offered a glimpse of what he can bring to the squad going forward.

Not every performance drew praise. Goalkeeper Philipp Brunner had a disappointing night between the posts, one of the few low points in an otherwise encouraging display from the home side. For supporters tracking the club's European campaign, the result and these individual showings will give coach Adi Hütter plenty to work with ahead of the coming fixtures.
