Deadline nears for sport-track school enrolment

By Laurent Duval, MonacoViews Editorial

Families in Monaco with children pursuing intensive sport training are reminded that the registration window for adapted timetable classes is closing.

For student athletes balancing rigorous training schedules with academic commitments, the Principality's adapted timetable programme offers a structured solution, allowing school hours to flex around sporting demands. The enrolment period for these classes, known locally as classes à horaires aménagés, is now drawing to a close.

Parents who have not yet completed registration for the coming academic year should contact the relevant school administration or Monaco Service Public without delay. Missing this deadline means waiting another full year for the next intake, which can significantly disrupt a young athlete's development pathway.

The programme is designed for children competing at an intensive level across a range of disciplines, and places are limited. Families uncertain about eligibility or the application process are advised to seek guidance directly from their child's school or the Direction de l'Education Nationale.
