Court of auditors launches multilingual website

By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial

The Commission Supérieure des Comptes has gone online with a new trilingual site aimed at improving public access to its financial oversight work.

The Commission Supérieure des Comptes, Monaco's court of auditors, has launched a new website at cscomptes.gouv.mc, built in partnership with the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Affairs (DIN). The platform is available in French, English and Italian, a deliberate choice given the number of international residents, property owners and professionals who deal with Monaco's public finances without necessarily reading French.

The site brings together the commission's reports, audit findings and activities in one place, replacing a more limited existing presence. For residents and business owners who follow how public money is managed in the Principality, from municipal budgets to state-backed projects, this gives a clearer route to primary documents rather than relying on summaries reported elsewhere.

The move fits a broader pattern of Monaco government bodies modernising their digital presence through DIN, following similar upgrades across other administrative departments in recent years. It is a modest but useful step for anyone with a stake in how the state accounts for its finances, whether that is a long-term resident, a company based in the Condamine or an investor assessing the transparency of Monaco's institutions.
