Condamine Market moves to Espace Léo Ferré for GP

By Alexandre Morel, MonacoViews Editorial

The Condamine Market will relocate to Espace Léo Ferré from 26 May as the Formula 1 Grand Prix Fan Zone takes over the Place d'Armes.

From 26 May, the Condamine Market will temporarily shift to Espace Léo Ferré, displaced by two converging pressures on the Place d'Armes: the installation of the Fan Zone for the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2026, and the continuing renovation works on the market hall itself.

Fresh produce traders will wrap up on the current site at noon on 23 May, giving a narrow window before the Grand Prix preparations fully take hold of the square. Other traders operating within the covered sections of the market will follow the same timetable.

For residents who rely on the Condamine Market as part of their weekly routine, Espace Léo Ferré, situated along the waterfront below the Condamine district, offers a workable alternative while the renovation runs its course. The Mairie de Monaco has not indicated how long the temporary arrangement will remain in place beyond the Grand Prix period.
