Twenty-nine newly trained police agents and two trainee lieutenants received their epaulettes and professional cards in a ceremony held on Monday 22 June.
At a ceremony on Monday 22 June, 31 officers graduating from Monaco's police school received their official insignia, marking the formal start of their careers with the Sûreté Publique. Charlotte Casiraghi, daughter of Princess Caroline of Hanover, presided over the occasion as each new recruit was presented with their epaulettes and professional card.
The 29 agents and two trainee lieutenants will now serve a 14-month placement in a unit of their choosing before being confirmed in post. The milestone reflects the Principality's ongoing investment in its public security forces, which patrol one of the most densely populated and heavily monitored territories in the world.
