The Principality club has completed the signing of CSKA Moscow's talented midfielder on a contract running through 2023.
The red and white have strengthened their midfield ranks with the acquisition of Aleksandr Golovin from CSKA Moscow. The 22-year-old Russian international has committed to a five-year deal that will keep him at Stade Louis II until June 2023.
Golovin brings impressive credentials to the Principality, having established himself as a key player in Russian football. The Siberian-born midfielder broke into CSKA's first team at just 18 years old in 2015, quickly becoming an integral part of their squad.
During his time in the Russian capital, Golovin accumulated substantial experience across 113 appearances for CSKA Moscow. His European pedigree includes 23 matches in the Champions League and Europa League, whilst he also celebrated domestic success when CSKA claimed the Russian championship title in 2016.
The signing represents another significant investment in young talent by AS Monaco, as they continue building their squad for the upcoming campaign.
