AS Monaco travel to face CSKA Sofia on Thursday 15 October at 18h45 in their opening Europa Conference League fixture.
AS Monaco begin their Conference League league phase away to CSKA Sofia this Thursday, with kick-off at 18h45. The Bulgarian side's only French player, attacking midfielder Mohamed Brahimi, has previewed the tie, describing his squad as containing "quite a few good individual players" capable of testing the Rouge et Blanc.
For Monaco supporters, the fixture marks the start of a European campaign that will again test squad depth after a demanding start to the Ligue 1 season. Brahimi, who knows the French football landscape from his career before joining CSKA Sofia, offered a rare insider's view of an opponent that remains largely unknown to the Monaco faithful.
The result in Sofia will set the tone for Monaco's Conference League ambitions this season, with further matchdays to follow against opposition from across the continent.
