More than sixty young footballers from the region were recognised at the AS Monaco Centre de Performance for their attitude on the pitch.
The AS Monaco Centre de Performance in La Turbie hosted an awards ceremony on Sunday for the Cartons Verts initiative, bringing together more than sixty young players and their families from clubs across the region.
The scheme rewards good sporting conduct rather than results, recognising players who show respect, fair play and positive attitudes during matches throughout the season. Coaches and club representatives from across the Alpes-Maritimes took part, with AS Monaco providing the venue and support for the event.
For families with children in local youth leagues, the initiative underlines the club's role beyond its professional first team, reinforcing its presence in grassroots football development across the border region.
