AS Monaco have brought in Marc Orti Esteban as their dedicated set-piece coach, with the 27-year-old Spaniard having arrived at the club last week. He fills the position left by Abel Lorincz, the Hungarian specialist who joined the Louis II setup in 2025 and departed at the end of last season.
The appointment reflects the growing importance clubs at Monaco's level place on dead-ball situations, with set pieces now widely regarded as one of the most decisive tactical battlegrounds in modern football. Orti Esteban will work within the wider coaching structure at Stade Louis II as the club prepares for the new campaign.
