Maritime education initiative brings ocean expertise to Tunisia

The Academy of the Sea has taken its maritime expertise beyond Monaco's borders once again, establishing a three-day educational programme at a business school in the Tunisian capital's vicinity. This marks the second time the Principality's ocean-focused training initiative has operated internationally.
The programme brings together a diverse mix of participants, including university students, academic researchers, and industry professionals, all united by a common goal of addressing the pressing environmental and economic challenges confronting marine ecosystems worldwide.
This Tunisian expansion follows the Academy's inaugural international venture in Morocco nearly twelve months ago, demonstrating Monaco's commitment to sharing its maritime knowledge across the Mediterranean region. The initiative reflects the Principality's broader strategy of extending its influence in ocean conservation and sustainable maritime practices beyond its own waters.
