A500 tunnel closes for four consecutive nights from 24 August
By Zak Jackson, MonacoViews Editorial
The Monaco tunnel on the A500 will be shut on four consecutive nights from 24 to 28 August to allow essential maintenance works to take place.
Drivers using the A500 should plan ahead this week, with the Monaco tunnel set to close on four consecutive nights between Sunday 24 and Thursday 28 August. A local diversion will be in place for the duration of the works.
The closure affects one of the Principality's main through-routes, which carries significant traffic between the French border and the port area. Residents and visitors travelling by car during overnight hours are advised to allow extra time and follow diversion signage. No disruption to daytime traffic is indicated.
