Grimaldi Forum

larvotto€€Cultural Venue

The Grimaldi Forum Monaco is the Principality's principal venue for major cultural exhibitions, international congresses, and headline concerts. Inaugurated in July 2000 by Prince Rainier III and Prince Albert II, the building occupies a striking 70,000 sq.m footprint on the Larvotto seafront, a feat of engineering on reclaimed land. Its contemporary architecture combines glass, concrete and steel in a design that evokes the Mediterranean light and sea that surround it. Inside, the Forum divides into several distinct spaces: the Salle des Princes accommodates large-scale concerts and galas; the Espace Ravel hosts major summer art and history exhibitions; and the Espace Indigo provides a more intimate setting for club nights and private events. Certified to ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 environmental standards, and accredited by AIPC, ICCA, and ICOM, the Grimaldi Forum welcomes approximately 250,000 visitors and hosts around 120 events each year. A substantial expansion project through Monaco's Mareterra eco-district will add a further 6,000 sq.m of modular space and 2,000 sq.m of outdoor terraces. Tickets are available through montecarloticket.com.
