Cafés in Monaco

The Café de Paris on Place du Casino is Monaco's most famous brasserie and the natural meeting point of the Carré d'Or. Open all year, its broad terrace facing the Casino is one of the most photographed spots in the Principality. Inside the Casino building, SBM operates the Belle Époque rooms alongside it; the terrace is open to all without reservation.

Away from the Casino square, the boulevard café culture of Monte-Carlo continues along Boulevard des Moulins, where the Italian pasticceria Cova, an institution originating in Milan, serves pastries, lunch and afternoon tea. La Condamine has a cluster of neighbourhood cafés around Rue Princesse Caroline and the market, with Costa Coffee and independent spots serving workers and locals. The Larvotto seafront has its own café strip along Boulevard du Larvotto, ideal for a coffee after the beach.
