Monaco launches online service for mutual employment contract termination

A new digital platform allows employers and employees to handle agreed contract terminations electronically through Monaco's public services.

The Principality has introduced a digital solution for processing mutual employment contract terminations, streamlining what was previously a paper-based administrative process.

The new online service allows both employers and workers to manage agreed separations electronically, reducing bureaucracy and processing times. This represents part of Monaco's broader digital transformation of public services, making administrative procedures more accessible and efficient for residents and businesses.

Mutual contract termination, known as 'rupture conventionnelle', enables employment relationships to end by agreement between both parties, often with negotiated terms. The digital platform should simplify this process whilst maintaining proper legal protections for all involved.

This latest digital initiative continues Monaco's push towards modernising government services, following similar online platforms launched for other administrative procedures in recent years.
