Monaco strengthens diplomatic ties with Senegal through new bilateral cooperation framework

Monaco's Foreign Minister concludes working visit to Senegal with signing of bilateral cooperation agreement, formalising two decades of partnership.

The Principality has strengthened its diplomatic relationship with Senegal following a successful working visit by Monaco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. The delegation engaged in high-level political dialogue with Senegalese authorities, culminating in a significant bilateral agreement.

The diplomatic mission reached its pinnacle with the signing of a bilateral cooperation framework agreement, witnessed by Amadou Chérif Diouf, Senegal's Secretary of State for Senegalese Abroad. This formal accord represents the cornerstone achievement of the working visit.

The new agreement formalises more than twenty years of collaborative exchanges between the two nations. This development comes at a time when international development aid is experiencing significant reductions globally, making such bilateral partnerships increasingly valuable for sustained cooperation.
