Cap-d'Ail Claims Victory at Third Annual Ünseme Cup Youth Tournament

Young footballers from eight regional communities competed at Stade Jean Favre, with Cap-d'Ail emerging as champions in the AS Monaco-organised event.

The picturesque Stade Jean Favre in La Turbie provided the backdrop for an exciting display of youth football talent this Monday, as around 100 teenagers from across the region gathered for the third annual Ünseme Cup.

Organised by AS Monaco, the tournament brought together young players from eight different communities, including three from neighbouring Italy, showcasing the cross-border spirit that defines the French Riviera's sporting culture.

The event attracted notable spectators, with AS Monaco president Dmitry Rybolovlev and French international Paul Pogba watching from the stands as the matches unfolded. Their presence added extra significance to what has become an important fixture in the regional youth football calendar.

After a day of competitive matches, Cap-d'Ail emerged victorious, taking home the coveted trophy and cementing their place in the tournament's growing legacy.
