Monaco Economic Board leads major business delegation to Swiss financial capital

Twenty-one companies joined the principality's first economic mission of 2026, targeting enhanced trade links with Switzerland's financial sector.

The Monaco Economic Board has orchestrated its inaugural economic mission of 2026, taking a substantial business delegation to Zurich between 11-13 March. The three-day visit brought together 21 companies and 26 Monégasque representatives, with financial and legal services firms forming the backbone of the delegation.

The mission represents a strategic push to deepen economic ties between Monaco and Switzerland, two nations that share strong historical connections in banking and finance. Zurich's position as a global financial hub makes it a natural partner for Monaco's expanding business sector.

Diplomatic support proved crucial to the mission's success, with Monaco's Ambassador to Switzerland, H.E. Carole Lanteri, providing backing for the initiative. The delegation's focus on financial and legal services reflects Monaco's continued efforts to strengthen its position in international markets while building on existing expertise in these key sectors.
