Monaco Yacht Club Forms Strategic Alliance with Japanese Marina Network
The prestigious club has partnered with Japan's premier marina association to expand environmental initiatives and strengthen presence in Asian superyacht markets.
The Yacht Club de Monaco has forged a significant partnership with the Japan Marina and Beach Association, creating new opportunities for collaboration across the superyacht industry. The Japanese organisation represents more than 80 private marina facilities throughout the country, making it a key player in Asia's luxury boating sector.
This alliance builds on Monaco's leadership in sustainable yachting through the SuperYacht Eco Association, which developed the SEA Index® as the industry's first comprehensive tool for measuring and reducing the environmental impact of large vessels. The partnership will enable both organisations to share expertise and best practices in marina management and environmental stewardship.
The collaboration positions the Monaco club to significantly expand its influence across Southeast Asia, one of the fastest-growing regions for luxury yachting. Through deeper engagement and knowledge exchange, both partners aim to advance sustainable practices whilst supporting the continued development of premium marina facilities in their respective markets.
