Historic Grand Prix brings traffic restrictions and parking changes this weekend

Three-day racing event requires road closures and parking bans across key Monaco locations from Friday morning through Sunday evening.

The Monte Carlo Historic Grand Prix will bring significant traffic disruptions this weekend as authorities implement comprehensive road closures to accommodate the prestigious vintage racing event.

Key areas affected include the Quai des États-Unis, Route de la Piscine, Jules Soccal jetty, and Darse Sud, where both parking and pedestrian access will be prohibited during racing hours. The restrictions begin Friday at 9:30am and continue through the conclusion of each day's events.

Motor vehicle and motorcycle access will be banned from Friday 24 April, with increasingly early start times as the weekend progresses. Saturday's restrictions commence at 6:15am, while Sunday's begin at 6am sharp.

Racing enthusiasts and residents should plan alternative routes and parking arrangements well in advance, as these closures affect some of Monaco's most central thoroughfares during the three-day celebration of motorsport history.
