Historic Monaco Grand Prix weekend to feature €90 million classic car auction

RM Sotheby's presents 59 exceptional lots including personal items from five-time world champion Juan Manuel Fangio's family collection.

The 15th Monaco Historic Grand Prix will be accompanied by one of the year's most prestigious automotive auctions, as RM Sotheby's prepares for its biennial sale at the Grimaldi Forum on 25th April.

The auction house has assembled an extraordinary collection of 59 lots with a combined estimated value exceeding €90 million. Among the standout offerings are personal memorabilia from the estate of Juan Manuel Fangio, the legendary Argentine driver who claimed five Formula One world championships during the 1950s.

The timing proves perfect, capitalising on the historic racing weekend that celebrates Monaco's rich motorsport heritage. Classic car enthusiasts and collectors from around the world typically descend on the Principality during this period, making it an ideal moment for such high-value automotive treasures to change hands.
