By Laurent Duval, MonacoViews Editorial

The Sovereign will take a ceremonial lap in the iconic Bugatti Type 41 to celebrate the legendary vehicle's 100th anniversary during Monaco's historic racing weekend.

Prince Albert II will participate in a special celebration this Saturday, 25th April, taking to the famous Monaco circuit in one of motoring's most prestigious vehicles. The Sovereign will drive a ceremonial lap in the legendary Bugatti Type 41, widely recognised as the 'Bugatti Royale', marking the car's remarkable centenary.

The appearance forms part of the Monaco Historic Grand Prix celebrations, where vintage racing takes centre stage on the Principality's iconic street circuit. The Bugatti Type 41 represents one of the most exclusive automobiles in automotive history, with only a handful of examples produced during its original manufacturing run.

This tribute highlights Monaco's deep connection with luxury motoring and celebrates a vehicle that epitomises the craftsmanship and engineering excellence of the early 20th century. The ceremonial lap will add a touch of royal prestige to the weekend's vintage racing festivities.
